🌿 A Ritual for Resilience and Healing

Since beginning another round of radiation this week, I’ve felt a deep craving—not just for rest, but for stillness. A quiet space where I can return to myself. Where I can breathe, soften, and remember that even in the midst of uncertainty, I am still whole.

In moments like these, I’ve turned to a small ritual. Nothing elaborate. Just something simple and grounding—a way to steady my heart before stepping into the unknown. A moment of presence, of connection.

It’s become a part of how I prepare—not only my body, but also my spirit. And today, I want to share it with you. Whether you’re going through something similar or walking your own kind of hard path, maybe this ritual will offer a sense of comfort, or a pause to feel held. If it speaks to you, take it. Make it yours. Let it meet you where you are.

🌸 Preparing the Space

Find a quiet spot, even if only for a minute. You don’t need anything special—just your breath, your body, and your presence.

I like to do this ritual whenever I need to soften, especially during treatments. It helps me return to myself, even if just for a few moments. But it’s not limited to one place. You can do it wherever you feel safe—in bed, in the waiting room, or even in your car before walking into a difficult space.

If it feels right, you can light a candle, place a small plant nearby, or wear something soft that brings you comfort. But truly, nothing is required. This ritual is meant to meet you exactly where you are.

🤲 The Gesture

Place both hands gently over your heart. Close your eyes. Take three slow, intentional breaths.

With each exhale, release—just a little. Let go of tension. Of fear. Of the need to hold everything together.

This is what works for me—placing my hands on my heart helps me feel grounded and connected. But you can do whatever feels right for you. Maybe you prefer holding a piece of quartz, a photo, or any object that carries meaning. The gesture is yours to choose.

Let yourself soften, even if only a bit. Let your body know it’s safe to pause here.

🕊️ The Invocation

In the stillness, speak gently to yourself—or simply hold the words inside, like a quiet prayer:

I hold myself.I hold my spirit.I hold the women who came before me—their courage, their grace, their fire.I am never alone.I am carried by their love.I embrace all that I am, even in this moment of tenderness.

These are the words I return to, but you are welcome to make them your own. Speak what your heart needs to hear. Let the words rise from within—without pressure, without perfection. Just allow them to meet you where you are, like a whisper from your soul.

🌟 The Affirmation

Now, with your full presence, speak the words that anchor this ritual:

“I am light. I am strength. I am healed.”

Let them move through you—not as a demand, but as a soft truth you’re allowing in.

Repeat them as many times as your soul needs. Whisper them, feel them, or simply imagine them echoing around you. Even if the words feel distant at first, trust that something inside is listening. Let them fill the space within and around you with light.

🌼 Closing the Ritual

Gently open your eyes. Rest your hands in your lap, or keep them over your heart—wherever they feel most at ease.

Offer yourself a small smile, even if it’s just felt on the inside. A smile that says: I showed up for myself today.

Let that be enough.

If this is all you do today, it is more than enough. You are enough.

Thank you for sharing this moment with me.

This ritual is always here for you—something you can return to whenever you need a pause, a breath, a reminder of your own strength. Make it yours. Adapt it. Whisper it when no one’s listening, or just hold it quietly in your heart.

You are not alone. You are deeply held.

With love, Malena 🌿
